About

Hi! I'm Michelle.

Geriatric Speech-Langugage Pathologist

With over 27 years experience with adults and geriatrics, I provide high-level, patient-centered, quality care IN YOUR HOME. I am mobile therapist and will come to you. No need to worry about driving or finding a ride to get the speech therapy services you need! My speciality areas include: stroke recovery, Parkinson's disease, alzheimer's/dementia and other neurologic disorders affecting speech, language/communication, voice, cognitive skill function and swallowing difficulties. I am a certified Lee Silverman Voice Treatment LOUD (LSVT) provider, and am passionate about providing the needed services to our elderly population.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland.  I quickly realized how much I loved working in stroke and brain injury rehab after graduation, and over time have honed my skills in geriatrics.  I have worked in a variety of settings in Delaware and Pennsylvania including: acute care hospital, inpatient rehab, nursing homes, outpatient rehab, home health care, assisted living and continuum of care retirement communities.  My goal is to help people stay as independent as possible for as long as possible!

My husband and I, along with our daughter and son, moved to Naples, FL in July 2019 from outside of Philadelphia. Our dog, Rocky joined the family in December 2020. I am excited to share my knowledge and skills with the residents of Naples!
